In the immediate vicinity there is the original centre of Lignano Pineta, realized through two parallel avenues that extend from the hinterland towards the sea and enclose within them a long row of commercial buildings, joined to a wide pedestrian promenade, so to form a sort of snake with the characteristic shape of a train. In this singular context, you can indulge in prestigious boutiques and refined shops of all kinds: clothing, footwear, jewellers, perfumeries. The centre is also teeming with bars, restaurants, pizzerias, ice-cream parlours, amusement arcades and discos to suit all tastes. In the famous Marcello d'Olivo square overlooking the sea, named after the architect who designed it, many free concerts are held throughout the bathing season to entertain adults and children.
